DAY 1 ARRIVE NEW DELHI
Arrive late night at the Indira Gandhi International Airport at New Delhi. Upon arrival, the guests will be met by our representative outside the customs gate and transferred to the hotel.

DAY 2 NEW DELHI
The capital of India has a fascinating history and a stimulating present. Delhi has been the seat of power of a number of dynasties - the Rajputs, the Afghans, the Turks and the Mughals, who continued their imperial line until the British.
Morning, sightseeing tour of Old Delhi, which has some dramatic remnants of the Mughal Empire. Visit the Red Fort, built in 1648, the Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque, both built by Emperor Shah Jahan. Also visit Rajghat, the site of Mahatma Gandhi's cremation.
Afternoon, drive through the majestic boulevards of New Delhi designed by the British architect, Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1920. Lutyens' Delhi includes the grand government buildings and parliament house, the India gate and "Rashtrapati Bhawan" - the presidential palace. Also visit the 234-foot high Qutab Minar and Humayun's tomb, built in the 16th century by the second Mughal emperor, and is an early example of Mughal architecture.

DAY 3 NEW DELHI - SRINAGAR
Morning, transfer to the domestic airport to board your flight for Srinagar. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the deluxe houseboats.
Srinagar district is situated in the centre of Kashmir Valley and is surrounded by five districts. In the north it is flanked by Kargil, in the South by Pulwama, in the north-west by Budgam. The capital city of Srinagar, is located 1730 metres above sea level. The district is spread over an area of 2228 Sq. Kms. It comprises three tehsils / towns viz Srinagar, Ganderbal and Kangan, four blocks (Srinagar, Ganderbal, Kangan and Leh), besides 175 villages.
Late afternoon enjoy Shikara ride on Dal Lake visiting floating and Vegetable gardens etc. Also witness walnut woodcarving and papier-mâché making demonstration.

DAY 4 SRINAGAR
Morning, sightseeing of Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh.
Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure): Queen Nur Jahan's brother, Asif Khan laid the Garden in 1633 A.D. It is situated on the banks of the Dal Lake in the backdrop of the Zabarwan hills, 11 Kms from the district headquarter of Srinagar. The Garden commands a magnificent view of the lake.
Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love): The Garden, 15 Kms from the city centre, was built by Emperor Jahangir for his beloved wife, Nurjahan. The gardens with four terraces is 539 by 182 meters and gets water from Harwan through a canal lined with fountains.The fourth terrace was once reserved for royal ladies.
Enroute visit carpet-weaving factory.

DAY 5 SRINAGAR - GULMARG - SRINAGAR
Morning, excursion to Gulmarg, covering a distance of 60 kms in approximately 2 hours. Also called the ‘Meadow of Flowers’, Gulmarg is situated 2730 Mts. above sea level. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek upto Khilangmarg which can be covered in about 3 hrs. Also enjoy sledge riding on snow. Chair Lifts for mountain ride are also available.
During the British Raj, the British Resident and other well-to-do Europeans camped here and as a result, Gulmarg still retains much of the spirit of a British hill resort.
Gulmarg is an all-season destination - the autumns as breathtakingly beautiful as the spring. In spring, Gulmarg lives up to its name - wildflowers of every colour and size dot the green pastures. In the winter Gulmarg draws plenty of winter sport enthusiasts.
Return to Srinagar.

DAY 6 SRINAGAR - PAHALGAM
After breakfast drive to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds) covering a distance of 96 kms in approximately 3 hours.
Visit en route the Saffron fields, Awantipura ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiwareman), see the beautiful countryside and rice fields on the way; drive through the pine forest.
Arrive Pahalgam and check-in at hotel.
On the banks of the river Lidder, Pahalgam - 2,130 Mts. above sea level, is a favourite haunt of picnickers. Forested hillsides, snow capped peaks at a distance, and green pastures to spread your blanket and sip apple juice as you watch the Lidder gurgle past. The river offers great opportunities for trout fishing (tackle is available locally, but get your fishing permits from the Fisheries Department at the Tourist Reception Centre in Srinagar)
After lunch have bridle walks and feed your cameras with the picture of magnificent view of mountains.

DAY 7 PAHALGAM - SRINAGAR
Morning, drive back to Srinagar from Pahalgam.

Full day will be at leisure for individual activities and shopping.

DAY 9 SRINAGAR - DELHI
Morning, transfer to the airport to board your flight for Delhi in the early afternoon.
Arrive Delhi and transfer to your hotel where you will have rooms at disposal till your final departure.
Rest of the day will be free for independent activities.
Late night transfer to the international airport of New Delhi to board your flight in the early hours of day 10.
